Tara/Emina, Sam/Vivien and Lissey/Liv all withdrew from the advanced doubles list. Whether they show up in different combinations because one half of the pair has a niggle we'll find out shortly, sign-in closed at 2.

Court 1 was covered which is why Dani v Isabelle has been able to get underway sooner, and allowed Dani to level up. Into a decider for the main draw.

Isabelle deserved the tiebreak, which she won 10-7. Great achievement, but another missed opportunity for Dani to get more points on board - she fluctuated between too tight and too overzealous in that MTB.

 Daniela played well to level up to take it to a tiebreak but then handed it to Isabelle, 3 double faults and lots of unforced errors.  Isabelle didnt have to do much but keep the ball in court to win

Dani wasn't very impressive in the MTB, Isabelle deserved to win.

Whenever I checked the video feed the covers were rolled up at the far end - must have missed their use when I stopped for lunch !

Em now 4-0* in the second. First set might have looked grim, but her opponent only won three points more - just the right ones !
