Marvellous - will take Tara up to mid 60s ranking. Thats getting into a place to play regular tour events . Well done.

So pleased for Tara; this doubles transition is really thriving for her, and she looks like she's enjoying it!

Very pleased for Tara, still capable of some results in singles but this is great to see

A lot of points - but also a big payday for Tara+. Will keep them going for a bit and also give them entry into better tournaments. Well done both biggrinbiggrin

Just to add my congrats to her too

I especially love the fact she's doing it with her wife - I imagine that can't always be easy ! biggrin - and that they're almost identical in ranking (which, I guess, is a given if you only ever play with the same person but...)

I hope Tara still gives singles a whirl too (which I think is likely as Emina has a decent singles ranking and so singles events will still be on her agenda)

But making such big strides in doubles, and with Tara's game (which balances up far better in doubles than singles), it's really opening the door on a 'new era' for her

Such a shame

Sam & Hev served twice for the second set

Were 2-4 down in the TB

Won the next four points

Sam really wasn't the best at the net though......

And then they lost the next 4 points....

Alicia & Olivia will be first alts now if they're kicking around and still 16 first round matches still to play (only takes 1 player out of 64 to pull out).

I think they're already back home on the grass.

Well they should have been in Paris as there was a walkover in the last first round match so they would have got in.

Patience would have been a virtue. What a miss!

The official RG app and website show that Tara and Emina have withdrawn and their opponents proceed with a walkover.

Anyone know if that is correct and what happened?

Also taken off the court 9 OOP where they were scheduled before Lloyd, so clearly something has sadly gone wrong.
