So - open question now Jack is out and the last of our nominated players is out for the month.
Is there anyone still in ITF action that anyone is looking at and thinking they might be worthy of a nomination if they go further this week- the angle is that if, given the records of the nominees already in place, nobody is likely to get added to the list , then I can post the June votes tomorrow and get it all finished in good time for Wimbledon. But if there is a possible candidate, I am happy to wait - I just dont want to delay if its not necessary.
No right or wrong answer - if anyone says wait, Ill wait and maybe ask the same question tomorrow!
If there is no one else, Ill put the first round poll up tonight and the final tomorrow so we are finished by Sunday evening. Looking through the lists I had one maybe in mind but even then Im not sure they would be able to compile a record to get nominated. But Ive not been following the ITF levels too closely so open to comment . If one person thinks we should keep it open longer Ill do that - if not, Id hope to post the poll at say 11 tonight

I might just be being a bit mischievous here and not convinced Id be nominating him myself but others in the past have been nominated for less.
So just he is not forgotten and in case others think he is worthy of a nomination, Johannus Monday is still going in the M15 in the US and has just reached his first SF..!

It was Johannus I was thinking of. Its late anyway now so Ill postpone it and see if he progresses to the final or not, lets see where he gets to. No panic !
Sorry wasnt looking to bu**er things up - just observed that some on here have been following Johannus this week and as he is done well so far thought they should be the ones to comment on whether they would likely nominate him or not!

Indeed, its not an issue at all and I had Johannus in mind for that reason. As long as he is in I will hold off (which means it could be Sunday) and just go from there. Personally, on reflection , if he wins that event in the USA , Id say he deserved a nomination.
Johannus plays at 4 pm today BST. So lets see where we stand this evening - if he loses, I will go with a poll tonight; if he wins, looks like it will be tomorrow night, Sunday
With Johannus into the final, albeit by walkover, his chances of a nomination are alive - Im assuming if he wins the final tomorrow he will be nominated so I will leave the final nominations list and the loading of the polls until after Johannus is finished on Sunday .
So polls will go up Sunday evening, and the final will run Monday evening to Tuesday evening

I'll save you the wait and nominate him now. To make any final when you're only ranked about 1500 is definitely worthy enough

Thanks Brendan. I think the field is set but Ill still put the vote up tomorrow as we need to see how Johannus fairs on Sunday as it may impact his chance of getting into Monday. Or something like that!
so with 15 finalists, I will do 3 groups of 5 with top 2 in each to a final 6 .
