2022 June Player of the Month Nominations Thread

So, with RG action for Brits starting today, thought I would get this going.

The June nominating period is 5 weeks running through the weeks of RG, and the grass court weeks up to and including Eastbourne, Wimbledon qualies and closing on Sunday June 26th, just before Wimbledon starts

Just add your nominations below, copy the previous list and add your nominations name and PLEASE give a brief one line reason for the nomination as we will use that once the vote takes place

Nominations:

1.

June should be a month packed full of big opportunities for Brits, following the French we have all the grass warm up events. With 5 weeks of action , Im hoping June excites more than May ended up doing.

Maybe the time to bump this as we get through a few rounds and wins at RG.

Just a reminder as we hit end of week 2 of this months 5. Most eyes on Surbiton, something not often heard in tennis or life in general. in Paris, though, we still have players left in mens singles, quads singles and all 3 forms of doubles.

Worth pointing our to anyone that hasn't been following RG that all these players left are wheelchair entries  Still, go for it, guys !

True but no less worthy ! And weve not had many wheelchair nominations yet this year (mainly as the heights are around the slams !).

Well, 'worthy' is a value decision, not a given, when it's a draw with only four entries (as per the quad singles)

Which is not to say I don't wish them well, as I do (although it's a bit late now, as both our singles guys got hammered today)

As mentioned elsewhere , we have Andy and Jodie in Surbiton semis today and also Julian and Henry in finals action at challenger level.
Alfie and Gordon in French Open wheelchair doubles final.

Lets see if any of them get onto our embryonic list
