Kokkinakis, Sock, Verdasco and Pouille all in Nottingham, decent field in terms of names, slightly weaker draw than Surbiton as youd expect. Surbiton usually weakens as Paris progresses.

Really quite surprised more arent going with Andy - playing Surbiton and Stuttgart, hes got a 2 event start on cam and Dan. He could have half a dozen grass wins before they start at queens and that could be hard to make up.

Could be because he won't be seeded in the ATP events and runs the risk of a really bad draw in R1.

I voted Ali Gray. However I reckon I'll be wrong. Reason is I reckon after Wimbledon he'll be off playing challengers and not the ITF grass swing. A Player without a vote that it could be is Charles Broom. He is upwardly mobile in the rankings could get a wildcard into some Challenger Qualifying and will probably play the WC play-off, he will probably still be low enough ranked after Wimbledon to be playing the ITFs and not be playing Challengers.

That is a good call; looking at the players in a similar vein, anyone know which have a game built for grass, attacking, decent around net, good serve? JPJ would stand out as one who might also play the events mentioned above? Anton, depending on where he lands with wild cards and his views post Wimbledon on the ITF's. Henry Patten will no doubt be in the WC Play offs as well and should play those ITF's, showing himself strong in doubles as well so am guessing he has a decent net game.

good to see a vote for Paul Jubb come in - interested to see how Paul goes on grass and he should play somewhere in most weeks of the season

Will it let you vote again Jaggy?

who did you vote for? we can keep a manual record in narrative if you post it here?

I voted for Dan Cox, I have a hunch he will win wild card plays and maybe a round or two in qualies and challengers. Wont let me vote again.

Well he did well the last time he had a proper go on grass, managing to qualify for Eastbourne 250 and beating Istomin and Rublev on the way. Plus he got through a couple of rounds at Ilkley. It's a shame he was injured last year during the grass court season. Looking forward to seeing him have a chance.

In light of the ATP decision to cancel ranking points at Wimbledon, the organisers of this poll event have conferred. It is clear that a British win is a British win regardless of who is or isnt playing and therefore all wins at Wimbledon and the qualifying events will still count in this competition.

A press release will follow in due course
