Which British men's player will win the most grass court tournament matches 2022

With Dan Cox winning his semi, we are guaranteed British winners now in Nottingham. It means we will out turn on 224 British wins in grass court events this summer (incl the 14 at the Wild Card Play offs) and with 58 players who have won 1 match or more in the MD or qualies of a grass court event.

Hard to comment on the 224 wins but 58 players winning matches feels pretty good to me?

Starting with Nottingham Challenger qualies, Dan Cox grass record was

Nottingham - 3 wins and 1 loss - reached R2 after qualifying
Ilkley - 3 wins and 1 loss - reached R2 after qualifying
Eastbourne qualies - 0 wins and 1 loss - lost opening round
M25 Roehampton - 2 wins and 1 loss - Lost QF
M25 Nottingham G1 - 4 wins and 1 loss - lost in final
M25 Nottingham G2 - 4 wins so far - into the final

He has amassed a 16 wins and 5 losses record so far, will end 17-5 or 16-6 , just under 80% overall but looking at it, not really stand out until this last 2 weeks in Nottingham. Indeed, 11 of his 16 wins have come in Nottingham in one event or another

What certainly is pretty good is so many more additional home tournaments. It looks like our players will overall benefit going forward. Would that be a coincidence just like a year or two ago, when the Italian renaissance began to really show after many more home tournaments, it was heard to be called as such by an LTA bod?!

Ali G takes the final grass title and moves to equal 4th on 9 wins.

If anyone is up for it, remind me and Ill do this again next year!

Well my theory of Ali G making a late run wasn't far off, but he just left it a bit too late.

How come the men can play on grass almost a month longer than the girls?
