 Yes, she used to play for Japan - but she's lived in the UK for ages - grew up here, I think - I used to see her playing at Surbiton and places - very much one of the GB crowd - and switched her tennis flag at the start of the year

She was managing a thigh injury at the end. Dont really know why she carried on as she stopped running for anything that was wide or short. A blow just before Wimbledon.
