Hes playing well. A few unforced errors here and there but olivo does little more than keep the ball in play and create angles so Liam is the aggressor. Hes taken a strong lead but needs to stay solid to win the match as olivo wont give it to him.

Thanks - if he sees it throifg , 4-0 currently, he would play Blancaneaux- who he beat 3 and 0 in Feb 21, albeit on hardcourts in South Africa.

Paul Jubb also has a single match versus his next opponent, Nardi, which he won , also in Feb 21, in 2 sets on hardcourts

Rather strange scoreline for Liam. 6-0 4-6 6-0

But frankly, who cares. On to Round 2.

It messes with his record: he can no longer win this grand slam as a qualifier without dropping a set.

Paul had won $12.1k year to date before this week, suspect he will dwarf that from todays win?

A
ccording to this website it's $30k. Last year it was 16k. That's in Euros, for some reason the euro sign doesn't appear.

Wow so more than trebled is years money. Presumably that is Pauls biggest pay day. Get a couple of grass wild cards and into Wimbledon main draw as a wildcard and its a game changing time of the year for players like Paul

Again, as per Lily, good for Paul to get a win in the opening round, some decent money (£17k) and some good experience
