Does anyone know anything about either of these boys?  Yujiro is 17 & must have Japanese parents, while Hugo is only 16, comes from Sevenoaks &, with a name like that, must be of French parentage & that's about all I can find.

Hugo Coquelin was our U16 national champion last year.

He's one of the LTA group.

You'll find this year's results in the juniors threads

Yujiro comes from Cambridgeshire, has had very little help, and has a rather great (slightly alternative?) coach.

 SC- not sure if you go over there much, but CD and David C (is DC and CD an alter ego thing?!) do lots of junior updates and many of these names get mentioned and followed. It is good to see them coming up and many of the juniors are playing in the ITF events we are having in Britain, one of the big benefits I would say, giving the youngsters a chance at playing for ranking points and against experience pros

Interesting article, thanks.  Nice to see one with a bit of substance.  Hejazi comes across as quite "no nonsense" & pragmatic. while Yujiro obviously has his head screwed on the right way.  smile
