Yikes. Should be a great match though.

The winner will play the winner of Sorribes Tormo and Osaka.

Got to love that Emma is the seed in a section containing Andreescu and Osaka. They could be called dangerous floaters!

It's an insane section of the draw, though I might say Sorribes Tormo is a more dangerous floater than Osaka on clay.

Least Osaka is giving clay a proper chance.

After what happened in NYC I can't imagine Sorribes Tormo will want to play Emma again, even on clay.

This is a dream draw for the WTA and its profile. Two of the big marketable names in the game against each other, providing they are both fit to play of course.

Anything could happen here. Bianca probably starts the favourite (?) and if she plays anything like her best I think she will win. However, she pretty much disintegrated in her last match so if she plays to that level then Emma has a great chance

I can see a gruelling three setter with MTOs for both perhaps extending beyond the three hour mark. Equally I can see an easy straight sets win for either. I do think Emma probably needs to take the first set though.

Emma probably does need to take the first set because it Is sometime ago that Emma won a match after losing the first set.
