Heather beat Madison in Madison's only WTA final at Hobart 2015.Between the US Open of 2008 and Wimbledon 2014  Madison. lost in qualifying 24 times in succession. From the US Open of 2014 she has played in all the  Grand Slam singles draws. . The scoreline was Heather's heaviest  defeat since she lost by a similar scoreline to Azarenka  at Miami  2012.

Nothing special about Brengle today. She just kept the ball in play and let Heather do the rest. Very tame.

Shame as Heather has shown better management and balance of aggression/defence in recent matches. Today was just an error fest.
