Someone will win it, which is generally what happens every time

Just to clarify though, the TNNS one has been around for about a year or so, it is really good. The atp and wta have launched their new one today , but Im sticking with TNNS !

Good stuff.

For all Emma's travails ( real and imagined ), as well as up to live WR 11 ( of course very largely based on last year ), she has now moved ahead of Heather and Harriet to be leading Brit in the live race at #69 on 247 points from this year. Heather is live #72 and Harriet live #76.

I thought Emma played well. Could have done better returning 2nd serves in the 2nd set and left the ball short a few times but Korpatsch was hitting line after line during an astonishing spell of tennis.

Nice to see Raducanu make use of the drop shot and her drive volleys were so much better than they have been this year.

Good stuff considering. A free hit against Swiatek. Good luck

A good on-court interview from Emma, very poised and intelligent.

Not the toughest pair of matches to get to the QFs, but wins are wins and they've been hard to come by for Emma since New York. Every one she gets now will help with damage limitation in readiness for US Open points dropoff and will hopefully build her confidence coming into the crucial next few months.
