I've not watched any, although may tune in to the decider, but it looks a strange match. Radwanksa went 4-0 up in the first set, before being pegged back, then going on to win the final two games, and then Lily raced into a 5-0 second set lead, before being pegged right back, and then going on to win the final two games.
I didn't see much of it in the end, but Lily was *3-2 up in the decider, and lost the last 4 games, losing 4-6 7-5 3-6.
Jodie struggling vs her qualifier, 5-7 2-5*, and facing a MP.
To be fair, she is still fighting as she's now saved SEVEN MPs in this current game, either that or the opponent is feeling the pressure when trying to serve it out.
But couldn't save an 8th - loses 5-7 2-6.

I watched a bit near the end of the first set and it was so frustrating I gave up in despair. Jodie had so many chances to hold serve at 5-5 which she lost with totally unnecessary errors. Wong then held comfortable for the set and I turned off!
R2: MIYAZAKI, Yuriko Lily (GBR) (6) 228 lost to RADWANSKA, Urszula (POL) 320 4-6 7-5 3-6
R2: BURRAGE, Jodie Anna (GBR) 209 lost to WONG, Hong Yi Cody (HKG) Q 627 5-7 2-6
Goodness me. These two weeks have been really poor. On the plus side she's not defending anything until July...
Interesting that she's down for Nottingham next week, but not the second week there.
...other than the 66 points dropping on Monday, 15 points in May and 25 points in June.
Oh gosh of course stupid me. Only looked at her results from last year when she was struggling over in the Americas and forgot we've still got 2019 to finish dropping.
There's no doubt she has been struggling for a while now. She's barely got a winning record over the past couple of years despite still primarily operating on the W25 scene, and her ranking has definitely been helped by the current Covid system, or at least it was. I guess her opponent today also being odds on (1.75 vs 1.96) is kind of a sign of where she is currently at, as Lily was a bigger favourite last week in her win vs the same opponent.
Hopefully she can get something going in time for the grass, as if not, she'll be lower down the priority order than she would have liked / expected.
I'm going to be raging if Jodie gets a Wimbledon MDWC. She needs to grow a pair and shake up her team like KJT did.
I've always followed Jodie as I thought She had the game to go a long way (in a similar way to Emma) I could not agree more however, there's no way she should even be considered for a main draw wild card at Wimbledon.
I think she's at a cross roads now. She either changes her team, hears some real home truths around mental toughness and movement or accepts a few more years in the 275-350 range before she quits. It seems such a waste as I believe she could be top 125

All of that. Such a pity to see someone falling so short of what they seem capable of due to repetitive ( seemingly soluble ) issues.

She says all the right things on social media and seems in a good place off the court but the performances/results have been going backwards for some time. I thought after her win in Dubai last year she would push on but it just hasn't happened.
Katie Swan had her best results last year in Wimbledon qualifying, it might help Jodie to go the same route. Lily would certainly seem more deserving of a MDWC on current form.
