So one week left for nominations - Id say it is a lower key month this month as weve moved to clay in general. But some action at challenger and atp this week, the G2 in Aldershot as well.

Despite it being start of Madrid for women, The month ends next Sunday and so nominations close then - Madrid qualies results can count to this months nominations of course.

 Bumping this -

remember, nominations will close this Sunday. If Harriet or Heather do well in Madrid qualies, that feat can be recognised this month as the qualies fall into April - one of those strange months, the FO qualies will follow suit next month as well.

Note, as the womens Madrid main draw starts this Thursday, much of the action (until last 16?) could be done by end of Sunday for the Brits - maybe. So if a Madrid player does well in qualies or main draw early rounds, lets include them in the April nominations/vote. If someone goes very deep in the event ie late next week, happy to have that acknowledged in May alongside the men - it would be a happy problem, to have.

The next months have a few cross over events like RG, Wimbledon where this years dates make it a juggle to see where they are best placed for PoM - upshot is May will be a strangely short month, but then things will come back together again.

Not many left in this week - from what I can see, we have Ryan and Jay in challenger singles, Millen in itf singles and doubles, and Jamie and Lloyd in atp doubles action.

I cant see any women still in action?

And we then have the junior finalists in Aldershot incl Phoenix versus Will Jansen and Hep versus Isabelle Lacy in the singles finals.

Any of those who you feel worthy of a nomination, please nominate before Sunday evening .

Just for clarity . As Emma hasnt started yet in Madrid , we will include any Madrid main draw action in the may PoM process alongside the mens. There are only 3 May weeks anyway , so it needs all the input it can get !

Ryan, Jamie and Lloyd will all be in semis action on Saturday. Jay and Millen are both over the Atlantic and play later today.

Congrats to Will Jansen and Isabelle Lacy on winning the J2 singles titles, and Sean Hodkin on winning the British Tour Premier event

Ryan and Jay both go in Challenger semis today, Jay late this evening. Jamie and Lloyd both have atp doubles semis, and Millen has his M15 doubles semi later.

If Jay or Millen reach their finals, tomorrow, Ill post the voting poll quite late, depending on schedule of play; it may well be Monday morning going up. Lets see what the days play and tomorrows schedules bring us!

Jay and Ryan are both in Challenger singles finals today, and Millen in doubles final action at M15 - these should be done and dusted no later than 9 pm , probably sooner , so I will set a hard 10 pm TODAY for final nominations this month and post the poll shortly after 10pm.

If anyone thinks any of these 3 or anyone else deserve a nomination for April PoM please post your nomination here by adding to the list and putting a one liner on the reason they are nominated
