although the draw list says bye, arent these in fact qualifiers that the likes of Lily play? There are 6 "byes" in the main draw list and 6 qualifiers about to come through qualifying. SO I think Lily is due to play a qualifier as opposed to get a bye.

Katie has saved three match points but is hanging on by a thread.

8 match points saved. And a 9th. Not the 10th.

Out 3-6 3-6

She's clutching her hip. Was pretty clearly hampered not serving properly for most of the match.

This kid just cannot get an injury free run at things.

That's a shame after a positive start to the year, was hoping she'll be back in the Top 200 soon. Hope she's fit for the BJK Cup.

Jodie was down a break, up a break, back on serve.

4-3*

Misses a break point. Few more deuces and she gets another and breaks. The altitude is making the wild errors even more spectacular than usual. But then it makes the winners even more flashy too...

*5-3

The German just hit a first serve that bounced before it hit the net...

Jodie took the first set and is two breaks up in the second 3-0. The German girl is a little inconsistent!!
