 Joe and Rajeev play Isner and Hurkacz this evening around 7 pm, winners play K and K. 

high quality last 8 - two outright doubles pairs (Joe + and Neal +), two singles pairs (Isner and Hurkacz, K and K) and Fognini and Bolelli make it an effectively fifty fifty singles doubles split.

If Joe and Rajeev win this evening, the semis will have the top 4 pairs in the Race left in. Putting Jack Sock aside, who for me is the best doubles player around right now and 7th in Race with Isner, that semis line up would clearly have the top 4 pairs of the first part of the season. Good to see two Brits right up at the top.

Pressure of becoming world No 1 ? Magnificently saved 3 match points but Isner Aced to win on deciding point. He would would wouldnt he!

I think it shows how two strong singles players can be very effective at doubles. Isner and Sock are a v good pair as well.

Isner and Hurkacz play Kyrgios and Kokkinakis next.
