Last 4 is comprised of 3 alts and a wildcard - I wonder if a last 4 at this level has ever been made entirely of players not in the original cut off entry list?
TAs algorithm, like it or not, makes Liam 30 percent chance and slight favourite to take the title here. That would be a thing.
And the hits just keep on coming. What a win for Liam. Into the SF of a tournament that feels more like a ATP250 than a challenger.
Will need to win the tournament to take out his CH ranking, but hey, why not.
Yeah, where he is in the current official rankings, means he is having to close down some reasonably big points gaps to make headway in the rankings.
So for example there are 9 points between him and 123rd place (Tomas), 14 points between him and 122nd place (Andreas) and 30 points between him and 121st place (Stefan). Beyond 117th place though, things do get a bit easier (well at least based on players' points, pre-IW).

Love the diagram btw.
There are indeed a few players above Liam in the 000s losing biggish points. Eg, PHH losing 140 net points, Varillas, 72 points and Seppi 77 points which should take Liam above them once the points he's dropping are taken off and replaced with the points he's adding on for this week so far.
