Both events in same country, even looking at a map they look almost joined by the same main road  so if one match was early and one late....

Fun to see two men who both serve & volley, and look to come to the net all the time

And even more fun when our version wins

Excellent top-200 win for Ali (his best?) Entertaining last set. Great win.

SF: (4) Alastair Gray WR 356 def. (1) Daniel Masur (GER) WR 176 3-6 7-6(3) 6-4

Presumably Masur is the son of Wally Masur who was an Aussie but born in Southampton. So maybe we can claim him as x% British !

Leandro is 20, and got up to JWR 6

Made the final of Roland Garros juniors (although was well outclassed in that match by Stricker)

Not surprised that he hasn't really done too much in adults since - he played a lot of events last year and, short of one 15k title, had precious little to show for it

All 4 of Alis titles are M25, 2 in South Africa, 2 in Britain. A third this season would make a great season start.
