I thought I hadn't seen the name Fangzhou Liu for a while, this was her first official match since January 2020 (I guess she could have played some unofficial stuff in China in the time off, but there's nothing showing on TennisExplorer which has all the Bundesliga and UK Pro League included). All of her points are from 2019, so I guess the rankings are still a bit all over the place in the lower echelons, but despite the long layoff, she was still a heavy betting favourite here.
