I saw how Peter had grouped the 2 ties together, checked the draw and was relieved to see they weren't playing each other. Had a closer look and noticed a the with 2 ladies same surname, turns out they're twins. Poor ladies

Wow, what a super win for Freya

Beating a woman ranked WTA 307 - that must be her best result for ages, surely (I know she beat Beth in Bath - sounds like the name for a sitcom - but don't think Beth was ranked quite that high)

Beth was WR319 at the time, and it went to a final-set tie-break. She also beat Carol Zhao WR330 in October - but as far as I can see no other wins over players inside the top 500 for ages.

It was Freya's best ranking wins since beating Naiktha, ranked 233, at Woking in July 2019

Very good to see from Freya.

Though the underlying sadness re so long without a top 300 win is that Freya herself has a CH 286 from October 2016 as an 18 yo.

Be great if she could get on some sort of run.
