As sure as night follows day a Nadal defeat is followed by a Nadal excuse and need for time off. Biggest fraud in world sport!

I thought he was struggling right from the start of the match. And the quotes from him on the ATP site give a lot of praise to Fritz.

His fake humility is probably the most annoying aspect of his personality!

Dang, so 6 weeks takes us through what mid May, pretty much tight up on the FO? Presumably he will look to get an ATP250 in pre FO to get some matchplay, if he is too late for Rome etc?

The least surprising tennis news story ever. Followed closely by 'Nadal makes miracle recovery in time for clay court season'

Why are Federer fans so down on Nadal. They have both been fantastic for the sport.
All this fake Nadal stuff is insulting and laughable. There is only one faker at the top of tennis.

Fake injuries which clear up in time for the clay court season-EVERY year! Fake heterosexuality-looks at the pics of him with Juan Monaco! Fake running back to the baseline after delaying his opponent after the end change-every time! Fake toilet breaks whenever he loses a set! Fake humility which only his blinded fans can't  see! Fake hair! Fake illnesses! Fake knee injuries which enable him to still play golf! Fake visits to Dr Fuentes after which his arms grew to twice their previous size Oh yes all this 'fake Nadal stuff is insulting and laughable'
