This is an enthralling match. Kyrgios is like Andy In the way he chunters and chides his box. Its fascinating to watch, but the talent is undeniable. So far, a career of underachieving.

Good week in the desert for Cam, still.

Nadal v Kyrgios was a great match and Nadal v Alcaraz will be fascinating .

Ah, not to be for Cam sadly. But he has to be pleased with his tournament.

Nadal v Alcaraz in an all Spanish semi tonight and now Fritz of the USA versus Rublev, from somewhere else.

A Fritz v Spain final needed I think.

Nadal won in 3 hours 12 mins. 29 games played so that is 6 1/2 mins per game. Feels like it was a bit of a tussle!

Rafa plays Fritz in the final tonight.

Fritz goes on to win the biggest title of his career, well done to him.

As sure as night follows day a Nadal defeat is followed by a Nadal excuse and need for time off. Biggest fraud in world sport!

I'm not sure that I agree with that.

I thought he was struggling right from the start of the match. And the quotes from him on the ATP site give a lot of praise to Fritz.
