I noticed on some historic clips in this series that , particularly in the USA and in the 60s and 70s, courts often didnt have doubles lines, just the singles court.
The Next Gen event does this as well nowadays, as there is no doubles event. I wondered if anyone has ever played a court which is just singles lines and whether it mentally changes your perception of space? Clearly the dimensions dont change but it maybe makes it all feel tighter and I wondered if anyone had any actual experience of a singles only court?
I got an email notification saying 26th is Lindsay Davenport (doesnt seem to be on TA site yet though, so cant post link. I had Lindsay 34th in my list. I think both myself and Gameover had her and ASV close to each other so thats proven correct !
I had Lindsay at no.30.I was trying to alternate male and female which explains the difference of 2 with Arantxa. I found Lindsay very friendly at a signing session at Eastbourne 2015.

I did exactly the same, rightly or wrongly men are odd numbers and women even! Hahaha
>if Kramer had won 10 slams plus, would he have actually been a lot bigger in this list ?
Possibly not -- the case "against" him is more that his time at the top was so short. Basically six or seven amazing years. If he had stayed amateur and won 10 slams in the same 6-7 years, his rating would probably be about the same. It's not fair, but the last 24 players on the list were pretty good too ;)

They will be and assuming they tally with mine and Gameovers lists, and there are no surprises, it will be interesting to see where they all fall over the next month or two.
ps presumably you will be good to hit your year end target of getting all listed ? Good luck!
