Greatest Players of All Time - according to Tennis Abstract

I can pretty much guarantee that #63 is not in your top 50! (probably not #62 either; I don't have a good feel on the conventional wisdom regarding #61) Then things get tight ... at least half of #51-60 could easily be rated higher, much higher in a couple of cases.

yep, the plan now is one next Tuesday, then hopefully back to three per week starting on the 9th.

Out of interest , Jeff, are you aware of any place where any discussion is taking place on this - you dont have a chat function in your site do you?

Nope, no chat on the site. I don't know of other discussions online; there is occasionally chatter on twitter, but it tends to focus on a handful of the current/recent players. I'm guessing it'll pick up in a couple of months when I start *really* offending people.

Oh dear yes, I could see your algorithms and your parentage being called into question

Yes he was on my list. His antics probably cost him the 1972 Wimbledon final. He sort of let Rumania down when the USA beat Rumania in the Davis Cup final on clay  in Bucharest.
