Tough match against a tough opponent. Been a good fortnight overall, but I'm slightly surprised she's not playing the $60k+H in Mexico next week which would have seemed a sensible end to this swing, especially as the field is weakening.
I also thought the same, that last set slipped away from Swan, her opponent was a box of tricks at the end, seeming to play a surprise shot practically every rally in the 3rd set. Katie looked like she she wasn't moving too freely at the end, and fatique was starting to play a part. Still, Swan played really well in the match, being aggressive and hitting some great shots. It's been a good couple of weeks, and well worth the trip to the Dominican Republic, for the match time, and playing opponents of a variety of playing style. Well done to her
Despite the current ranking difference Katie I think has more potential than Jodie if she can just stay fit. She certainly seems to have more mental toughness given how often she's won from a set down.
