Yeah, I didn't realise it was Lily's first ever WTA main draw until I saw it on TF yesterday, she ended up losing the next 5 games following TA's post (to lose the match), and had a MP.
3 three setters thus far on Centre today, and still one more match to start (and finish) before Katie B gets on, so looking like a late finish.
Eikeri is one of those players who you look at her current ranking and do a major double take. Incredible she's ranked so high and she wasn't top 100 a year ago. Really doesn't take much to get your ranking right up if you can get things to click in place or get a slice of luck for a couple of WTAs.

The match before Katie's has just finished, so just after 10pm, Katie should be on court soon. Her match will very likely clash directly with Heather's in Monterrey.
Edit - could be more life in the Monterrey match, so the clash may be less obvious if it goes 3 sets.

Katie's match has started. Interesting to hear that she's no longer with Jeremy Bates but with Iain Bates (no relation) full time now.
It's not really the shake-up I'd have liked - it's hardly 'thinking outside the box' or really getting the benefit of different approaches/techniques/thinking etc - BUT needless to say, I am delighted !!!!!!!!

Agreed, small step in the right direction. Given her game style, I was hoping Dan Smethurst might've got involved.
