Swan is #1 seed in this week's follow up tournament in the DominicanRepublic, so hopefully will do well again, and pick up more points. Playing against higher ranked players week in week out would be beneficial, I reckon. It's tough to play with more variation when playing solid (and at times a little conservatively) gets the job done. Katie has another gear than the one she used today, which we've seen against opponents ranked 110 - 130.

I hope Katie's fit enough to play again next week as scheduled, as this tournament offers a great opportunity to add to her ranking points total.

Yes, her 50 points due off on Monday will now be effectively replaced by 50 points from here adding on the following Monday, 07/03.

She is then due to have a net 19 points drop off during the Indian Wells fortnight so it would be great to cover these as well.

By the way, loads of points due off across the board on 21/03 as a 2 week ranking period combines with 2019, 2020 and 2021 points dropping off.

By rights though someone with that record probably shouldn't still be playing ITF tournaments at this stage.
