Week 8 - ITF W25 - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (outdoor hard)

Ah score has just appeared. It looks as though they are just starting a 3rd set.

And if the scoreboard is correct, it's Katie in the long sleeves.

Yes, I tried really hard to hear the score for the last ten mins and gave up and just watched the tennis instead. And then it popped up

Allez, Katie !

For those watching livescores, it now says Sebov has won the third set 6-2

Which is a lie !

They've just started the third set....

I know what you mean, Jan.

I'm 99% sure the bare-armed player is Katie.

That was my initial thought when there was no info forthcoming.

I give up!!!
I fear maybe the score was right and the video lagging behind somewhat.

Possible. But given the gremlins in the score gizmo from the start, I think they were trying to put it up to date (hence why the two set score suddenly came up) and then somehow the score in set one got put in the score for set three. And then it all went truly pear-shaped.

I think they're still playing....

However, I completely agree with your first point - I give up too no

I don't understand what's going on here.  The livestream is showing this score but they are apparently still playing. ???

The live feed has been frustrating, with drop outs and the scoreboard not working. And now it's gone completely. Still, we did get to see some of Katie's match. She looked a bit rusty in the first set, a bit tentative especially when her opponent was out of position, and wasn't timing the ball strike consistently. Second set was better, hitting the ball harder, and relaxing more, though she had the physio on at one point, to loosen her service arm/shoulder. Third set, we can just hope goes well. She needs a run of matches to be able to kick on.
