JonH and the cameras might be tired of these tournaments but the rest of us are enjoying them.

Well done Sonay and Jasmine smile

People were mentioning the stream quality yesterday, and buffering, and the Sonay one has just become unwatchable for me out of nowhere. Jasmine one still fine for now.

Sonay was 5-0* up in the 2nd, but pegged back to *5-3. Jasmine down a break in her second.

Although b2b DFs from the Russian at 30-30, and Jasmine is back on serve, *2-3.

I was looking forward to watching Sonay this morning but was disappointed as it was totally unwatchable, like you said.  At least it's reassuring to know it's not my system that's at fault.  On your suggestion I switched to Jasmine just in time to see the final set tie break and her excellent win.  Now great news about Sonay too. It's so good to see the ladies making the news after mostly men at the start of the year.

You are forgiven Jonh wink but it is the cameras that are frustrating. Hope they improve for the upcoming rounds.

Sonay will play Lesley K(P) again, Jasmine plays a fellow 17 year old in Palicova, and Jodie's QF opponent is still to be determined. Former top 100 player Fett and now UKPL stalwart Stresnakova are on serve (fairly early on) in their decider.

All 4 seeds out in that top half.

Edit - Katerina came through 6-3 in the third, so a good win for her, and now another from qualifying for Jodie, but could be an interesting one.

They've spread the 3 Brit's out well tomorrow. Jasmine starts at 10am and Jodie follows on. Sonay is scheduled third on a different court, so there may be overlap depending on how the prior matches go, but it should work out fairly well. Stream quality permitting of course.

3 through would be unreal, but it would be great if we could get 2 through to the SFs, like we had last week.

Stream seems to be more stable today.
Not seem Jasmine play before. Seems to be serve and forehand dominant.
Playing OK, not much between the two ladies.
