Personally, I suspect the following for MDWC: Anna Brogan Ranah Stoiber Mimi Xu Ella McDonald
QWC Emma Wilson Marni Banks (might get in direct) Lauryn John-Baptiste Talia Gatenby Isabelle Lacy (1st reserve if Marni gets in direct)
I'm expecting a place for Hep somewhere as she is at Stirling (as is Talia, of course).
Talia is one of the youngsters Ive followed for a few years. She left Stirling Academy to join Loughborough Academy as nearer to home. Was always one of the top girls in the mix but was somewhat of a late developer physically and was considered small. Shes grown in height, if not stature yet - still a very slim build - , always struggled as a youngster with her emotional control and would often beat herself in matches. Seems to have that sorted now and if she can stay accident and Injury free has The potential to be a very good player.
Thanks, tennisdad - my list must be out of date for the Stirling ones
Is Talia also the one who had so many injuries? Non-tennis injuries too? Broke some bone from just tripping over at some point? Or am I mixed up with another?

Shes had 2 serious injuries one broken wrist, one severe ankle sprain. I heard the wrist was on court tag fitness type game where she accidentally pushed over from behind unaware and Landed very badly. Not the greatest warm exercise for tennis players IMO.
Have you had another pound on Sonay CD ? I see the odds were set at 5/6 vs 5/6 (1.83 vs 1.83) yesterday evening (Bet365) and for the next few hours, but a considerable change upon checking this morning, 2/7 vs 5/2 (1.28 vs 3.50).
The odds in all 4 QFs are pretty much the same (3 of them exactly), so IF it did go that way, then it would be two Brit's in the SF, and still the possibility of an all GB final, as suggested as a potential outcome on here yesterday.
Lauryn on Court 1 at 10am, followed by Sonay. Jodie on Court 2 at 10am, followed by Talia.

Yes, I did At 1.8 last night. And have just taken it off now for £1.40
I still think she'll win but the prices do seem very tight now.
Jodie has just taken the first set 6-2
Hopefully she can get the second one, reasonably OK, and show herself that she CAN win matches, regularly, in two sets.
Lauryn has lost the first set 2-6. But Lauryn does battle hard....

It's always nice to get a bit free money without having to do anything additional
Edit - Jodie now down a double break 1-4*, and a lot of work to do to avoid yet another deciding set defeat, as well as another below par 2022 tournament.
