Apologies for quoting this one it was more or less a consensus yesterday I think. Bad draw, wildcards were wrong, only expect one (or two) winners. We did a great job of spreading doom and gloom and this seems to have had desired effect! Keep it up!
All first round doubles being played today, but it'll be quite a while until we know all the results, as Mariam is still playing her singles (into a third set) , so she and Sam will be late finishers.
I think I'd make Sonay a fairly clear favourite, but yeah, it will be interesting to see how it goes. Definitely no split loyalty there from me though, and I hope she (Sonay) can make her first W25 QF.
in the 3 womens domestic ITF's , so far, we have had 10, 5 and 6 round 1 wins respectively. With 17, 6 and 6 (and counting) wins in total in the womens events

Early odds from Bet365, Sonay started at 4/6 vs 6/5 (1.66 vs 2.20), but she has come in slightly and it's now 4/7 vs 5/4 (1.57 vs 2.25), kind of in line with what I was expecting.
