Anyone else see that controversial point where Katie saved game point but the umpire overruled and called the ball in? It looked well out to me.

I didn't realise it has been overruled.

Yes, it looked out to me - the trajectory of the ball was out, the live bounce looked out, the replay looked out, the players' reactions indicated out (apart from that, I'm neutral biggrin

I thought it was comfortably out, and the several replays showed it clearly.

Into a tie-break

Maybe it wasn't an overrule but as you said everyone else seemed to think it was out and he called out quite distinctly that the ball was good.  I'm glad you are as biased as I am!!!!!

Very impressed with the straming - good camera angles and good direction.
Now if only my French was good enough to follow the commentary ........

Not biased at all - the ball is out, the ball is out smile

(Honestly, you might be right about the overrule - I don't have the sound on)

I'm finding the mistakes in the on-screen score very amusing/confusing.

Well done Katie. She got there! Very impressive resilience in the third. Delighted for her.

Great result.
Maybe she shouldn't change coaches after all.

Good end to a very decent week for GB women,
