Is anyone following Katie? She seems to have won the first set 6-0.

She had points for the tie break but could not manage to take them. So close.

R2: BARNETT, Alicia (GBR) Q 611 lost to TREVISAN, Martina (ITA) (2) 93 6-2 1-6 5-7
R2: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) (6) 153 (CH=82 2019) def VISMANE, Daniel (LAT) 278 (CH=275 2022) 6-0 6-3

QF: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) (6) 153 (CH=82 2019) v TREVISAN, Martina (ITA) (2) 93 (CH=66 2021) 6-2 1-6 5-7

Alicia had four break points to go two breaks up in the 3rd set and then another two break points in Martina'a next service game but couldn't take them. Considering the difference in ranking that would have been a stunning victory if she could have pulled it off.

A shame but still a great week for Lissey given her recent singles form.

That's a pity, but a good result for Lissey just the same against Trevisan. And 15 points for the last 16 (nett ??)

Nice win for Katie, good to see her hit some form and 29 points as a bonus

Incredibly close. Trevisan was last seen qualifying for and reaching R2 of the Australian Open. Some few days for Lissey but just such a pity today.

They win biggrin

Very happy for Alicia to end the day with something after that singles effort.

And that was the same pair they had a shocker against a couple of weeks ago.

Well done.
