Grenoble courts notoriously are quite quick so looks like Beth is trying to replicate that win on the ultra fast courts in Czech Republic.

With Sam taking a late QWC into Birminham, Beth and Sam are out of the doubles. And the ITF have actually clarified something we were discussing when it first appeared i.e. this is now showing against Beth's entry:-

Good straightforward win for Beth in just over an hour.

At least seven times in doubles and four times in singles at ITF and above, not counting British Tour or UKPro etc.

They met twice in 2018 in qualifying matches, both three setters and 1-1.

First time I saw Lissey play, Beth was on the next court (Sutton, British Tour)

They've played 4 times competitively, and twice more recently at UKPL / BT level, they've all been pretty close scores but Beth leads H2H either 3-1 or 5-1. Beth's stock is probably at an all time high at the moment, whereas Lissy's isn't really, so you'd think Beth would probably be extending that, but you never know.

Glad to see Lissey get a singles win but Beth must be heavy favourite on current form.

In all 4 of their matches at ITF level, the player who lost the 1st set has gone on to win the match.

Looks as if this is going to be another close one. Five succesive breaks to start the match and Beth is serving to stay in the set at *3-5.
She holds, despite two DF in the game.
