Lauryn's match is very much going with service. Lauryn had one break point in the 1st set and one break point in the 2nd, until the 12th game when she came from 0-40 down to earn three more break points. Her opponent has eraned no break points but got two mini breaks in the 1st set tie break. Now into the 2nd set tie break.

Lauren won 5 points in a row to recover from 2-5 down to take the 2nd set.

The first half of that TB was awful from both women.

But Lauryn did really well to come back from 2-5 down and win it 7-6(5)

Into a third and the Finnish girl lost in Bath easily.
Lauryn has a real chance here.

I wish she would come to the net more. She had some success with it at the end of set 2

Lauryn did really well to recover in that tiebreak after missing quite a few set points at 6-5*.

Kulikova had a great end to last season to get up towards the 250s so it's been quite strange to see how poor she has been in these UK events.

 I hope you're right - I'm not sure lauryn often 'cruises' things though...

Mind you, how long are they going to work on her back? She's getting practically a full physio session...

Lauryn has gone very tight when trying to serve ot out.
Weird final set.
Lauryn's levels have dropped. The Finnish girl is playing in patches and then not trying....

Ah damn. That point at 30-30 in the final game was so good as well, but couldn't force a tiebreak.

Just missed out, saved 1 match point but not the 2nd. The match lated 3hrs 25mins.
