The entry for the W25 Birmingham event is unreal! All the direct list are top 200 and it also has a top 100 entry . Its Challenger level. Will it really happen?

In a word, no. Wait until after the withdrawal deadline on Tuesday for the real list. The top 100 entrant is in St Petersburg, and most of the others entered for Birmingham will have withdrawn by Tuesday having chosen the W60 in France. There will probably be women currently well down the alt list that will end up the in the main draw.

As well as the W60, Harriet is 2 out from qualifying in St Petersburg.

As Lamda says, the entry list for the W25 in Birmingham looks very different today. Jodie and Tara are in the main draw and Matilda is at Q3.

Now just 3 top 200 players on the entry list with Jodie at #5 Tara in at #18 with a ranking of 397.

The following week's Glasgow W25 has also started with a fully top 200 main draw list. But no doubt it too will look extremely different in a week's time when players have made their choices.

That's a shame, she never seems to come home except for Junior Wimbledon.

Yes, and I thought the recent revelations about his father (posted previously) were absolutely the last straw for the poor guy (the poor guy being Delpo, not the father no)

As everyone says, wishing him all the best

Gosh! I had not come across this story.  I feel so sorry for the guy. It is one thing to be screwed over by a lawyer, accountant or agent. But your own father?

I hope that he JDP's body allows him recover at least some of his former glories.

Good luck, mate

I hope JDP has a decent protected ranking that he can use when needed. He's currently ranked 757 on the basis of 23 points from Queens in 2019 and 5 points from Madrid - also in 2019. I'm sure he'll get wild cards wherever he wants to play though.
