This is the current full list of Player of Season qualifiers, remaining places to be determined, provisional placements based on ranking in various categories

Worthy of note is that in the past two years, the player of season vote has been won by Joe Salisbury and Emma Rad. They were both the outstanding achievers in their season with slam titles in mens doubles and womens singles.
The us open may change this years direction but as of now it is much more open for who may become player of the season- the slam winner , Neal Skupski in mixed, isnt even qualified for player of the season as their slam win was overshadowed in the month it took place and the top performances of the year are spread widely.
August, sept, oct and nov/Dec will become very interesting
Months in how this season plays out and who becomes player of the season in 4 months time!

Player of the season vote is in around 3 months and does anyone else feel that it really could be anyone this year - theres a few big names not yet got through , but 3 months of the year to see someone pull out some great performances.
In 2020 , Joe Salisbury took it off the back of winning the Aussie Open pre lockdown. In 2021, Emma took it easily after her US triumph. This year we have a slam winner again, but it feels like the overall performances are stronger and the competition tough.
Septemaber player of the month in a weeks time approximately, be interesting to see who tops that poll.
And here is the latest list of qualifiers for Player of the season. 13 confirmed, looking like a max of 28 this season in the field.

for those interested, here is the voting profile per event over 3 years - so we are averaging a 20% year on year improvement in voting, roughly 40% over two years. Which is great. I still would like to see a regular 40 votes per month being reached but maybe have to accept our natural position is in the mid 30's!

Looking at the list above, players like Evo, Andy, Emma and Neal havent yet qualified for player of the season vote off. Could be an interesting end to the season and could make the wild card vote an interesting one.
The updated list of qualifiers for Player of the Season is now 17, with the 3 wheelchair number ones all confirmed.
I calculate that our max field this season will be 26 or 27 now, probably lower. Still 2 PoM votes to come of course, one this weekend , and a number of other positions to finalise in the next few weeks.

as well as the October PoM and PoM Ru this next few days, the British mens number one will be confirmed next week (probably Cam although Dan could mathematically do it ); the mens doubles will follow in two weeks after Turin (between Joe and Neal); womens singles looks to be Emma and maybe Harriet can catch her (can anyone advise on that womens number one and whether Emma has it sewn up?); and womens doubles looks certain with Alicia and Liv looking like there will be 2 points in it in a few weeks time and Alicia maybe has the sewn up also ( again, can anyone confirm?). The junior number ones may well be effectively decided but I wont call that until the end November (Again anyone with Ranking insights that can advise, please do so).
Julian Cash looks pretty certain to have most title wins (although can perhaps be caught by end November ?) and that would leave the players with most PoM vote podiums that havent already qualified (currently Julian and Neal lead although both may qualify via other means as per above) and then the wildcard vote as well.
