Solid performance overall from Harriet, when the first serve goes in shes very strong. Very few errors overall, opponent struggled on serve and you never got the feeling the result was ever in doubt, as reflected in the rankings gap. Good the way she used her wee mini meltdown to lift her game when required as well

Great to see Harriet qualify again, although hopefully she can finally make leap into the top 100 and direct entry next time.

Well done to Harriet, she's becoming a hard court slam qualifying machine, having now come through qualifying 5 times, including 3 of the last 4 years at the Aus Open, which of course means the last 3 times it has been held in Melbourne (since AO women's qualifying was held in Dubai in 2021):

2022 Aus Open

More to the point, she is the first British player to have won 20 matches in slam singles qualifying this century! (probably for much longer, possibly ever, but full records of qualifying matches start to get a bit patchy before that)
