Yes, Beth having to work hard against big-hitting Andre. Beth looking very fit, and Andre tiring a little. The first MTO was for Beth after Andre dissapeared for a bathroom break. The second was for Andre.
Beth would have won this easily if she didn't keep finding the net !
Beth was standing so far back that she barely featured in the stream during some rallies. Anyway, she won. Only watched the final set and even that was difficult viewing with the lengthy delays while players go to fetch the ball, even prior to a 2nd serve.
Ive seen a few odd posts on Beth on here regarding her desire to concentrate on singles. I hope Im wrong but a few of the posters seems to almost want her to fail to justify their comments.

I do think you are wrong - there are a few of us on here that are great fans of Beth
Six (6) wild cards into singles at $25,000-$100,000 Tournaments on the Womens ITF World Tennis Tour, with a maximum of three (3) of these allowed in the Main Draw. In addition to these wild cards, a player who wins one (1) or more matches at a tournament where they are allocated a Main Draw wild card will receive an additional Main Draw wild card for use in the same calendar year (a Merited Increase). A player can receive up to 3 Merited Increases each year at $25,000-$100,000 level (i.e. 6 Main Draw wild cards in total, in addition to 3 Qualifying wild cards). For the purposes of determining the Merited Increases, wins by retirement or default (after the match has started) count as wins, but byes and walkovers do not
The same applies to the separate 15k wild cards as well.
