Week 2 - ITF W25 - Bath, GB Hard

Ouch. Rather a battering for Em in the second set. Over so quickly I missed most of it.

Eden looked fairly sharp by the end but yes wasn't exactly being pushed in the latter stages. After saving a break point in the third game she only lost one more point.

Abigail struggling against Jo Garland 0-4*

Millie nearly there, 4-2* second set, couple of break points been and gone in this game.

4 break points missed by Millie, but she's unphased. A game away at *5-4

Abi loses the first set 6-0

Yes, no doubt a little nervous at *5-4, but recovered and broke from 0-30* down at 5-5* to take it second time round.

Feel for Abigail, she had quite a few game points in the second but couldn't close out a game.

Holly went any early break up on Dani, but now Dani leads *4-2

Millie takes the first set 6-1. The American teenager wasn't very good against the not very good Mazzoni in qualies, so was hopeful Millie could do the job here.

Kate Mansfield is based in the UK. She is an average junior G4/G5 and I saw her at Liverpool in G5. Not surprised Millie beat her

Holly has retired - do hope she's OK

(At least I cashed out half before...... Sunday was a disaster for my flutters - I lost £2 - whereas today has been a biggie - made over £23, life is good again)

I know - shhhh - don't tell the banker - had £40 on Eden - even at 1.25, I thought that was daftly generous.

Also, £2 on Phoenix and £2 on Dani did well (well, only one on Dani but hey...) and odds and sods elsewhere

My whole heap of 10ps on Sunday just bombed, it was depressing so I went less numerous and bigger.

Probably asking for disaster......biggrin

I see Ella is entered for Aus juniors and has been withdrawn from Loughborough automatically.
Leaving it late to travel??

Maybe she had to wait for a positive test?

Beth finding this one quite tricky, she's having to work really hard. Took the first set 7-5 but under pressure in the second *1-3 deuce

haven't been watching this but I know there's been two MTOs.

One at the end of the first set.

One when Beth was 1-3 down in the second.

Beth dropped the second set 6-3, but now up a double break in the decider.

*3-0
