At least it looks as if she did really fight in the final set after that second set got away. But also looks awful matchplay when it mattered though she won't be the first to be better staying in than closing out.

Well done to Tara and Emina ( after that singles ). The final takes Tara to 60 points ( 100 if they win it ) so into points profit even though her lowest counter is 50 points. Heather though for now will go further clear as GB doubles #1 with her WTA 500 R1 win for 100 points ( net 90 ).

That's a heartbreaker for the opponents - they won so many more games.

But really pleased for Tara

And Emina put in SUCH a stint this week - shame it was at Jodie's expense but awesome nonetheless

Great stuff

Tight match in the end of course over sets 2 and 3. Though regarding total games won, with a 0-6 set one scoreline I wonder how much Tara & Emina were giving to that set latterly as against working on how best to go on and win two sets to one.
