Edit - to clarify, I think it's a good thing the 2019 points are finally going, I just mean it's going to create a lot of changes on that one list.

It might not be so bad at ITF kevel as its top 14? results rather than specific tournament's so i would imagine most of the points will be organically removed for most players. It's when there are specific tournaments at WTA and ATP level that get included regardless that there will be carnage.
The ITF rankings will change drastically because in 2019 women would get points all through the main draw of 15K. Since 2020 women only get ITF ranking points for qualifying or reaching the FQR in 15K or 25Ks with no ITF points available in main draws any more. In 2019 the maximum number of ITF ranking points available for a tournament was 150. Since 2020 it has been 4.
Are the WTA rankings not going to be updated at the same time? I think its getting a bit ridiculous having counters which are so far out of date.
The ITF direct you to the WTA but the WTA never say anything about WTA points at ITF events. In April the ITF said,
On 21 March 2021, the WTA announced adjustments to the WTA Ranking system for the continued schedule modifications affecting the Tour calendar following the 2020 pandemic-shortened season. These changes include allowing players to carry 50 per cent of their 2019 ranking points earned at ITF World Tennis Tour events from March 2019-December 2019 for an additional 52 weeks until 2022; and for 2020 points earned at ITF World Tennis Tour events to remain on for 104 weeks.
This change aligned with a revision the WTA made to their events. Since then the WTA made a further adjusted to how they handled retained points from WTA events, but nothing has been said by either the WTA or ITF as to whether there were any changes to retained points from ITF events.

From the WTA website - who knows if they will stick to this !
At the conclusion of the 2021 Miami Tournament, points will begin to drop and the traditional ranking system will transition into place. Starting with the April 5, 2021 ranking, 2021 ranking points are replacing 2019 ranking points or the better of 2019/2020 ranking points, as applicable (with the exception of 2020 Tournaments held more than 4 weeks outside the originally scheduled dates and Tournaments not held in 2021).
That was the position at the start of 2021. Since then they made 2 further announcements as to how they handled retained points but never reflected those changes in the covid adjustment rules document.
Oh sorry I thought all the 2019 points were dropping off WTA rankings on April 4. If it's just the ITF Rankings then 'meh'.
It is only the ITF rankings that we have this clear statement for. But we can live in hope that, if just for some consistency, the WTA do similar with their points in respect of ITF events.
As Lambda says, the WTA habitually say nothing about ITF events points, just at best their intentions for WTA events. BUT their WTA rankings are in respect of both so it is a tad annoying
Tara did face one BP when she managed to serve 4 DFs in the first 7 points at *4-2 and still won that game. She served 7 DFs in all in that first set bit otherwise won 22 of the 23 points when she got her serve in ( being 14/14 on her first seve and 8/16 on her second serve including the DFs ).
These stats have the look of possibly employing her first serve in her second serve ( both serves in about 50% of the time and having won just about every point when it has gone in )?

FQR: (q14) Tara Moore WR 404 beat (q8) Carolina Alves (BRA) WR 250 by 6-3 2-6 (11-9)
Whatever was happening with Tara's aerve in the first set, in the second set her first serve accuracy was a bit down (12/29) but still good points when jn (11/12 won ) and her second serve was more accurate (11/17 in,, 6 DFs) but only 3 2nd serve points won. Thus broken twice. Interestingly more normal looking stats, with a more accurate but less successful 2nd serve compared to the first, and less success
In the MTB ( a new script in which she got 8/10 first serves in and had no DFs but only won 4 first serve pojnts ) she had *5-0 and 6-1* leads, pulled back to 8-7*, MPs at 9-7* level at *9-9,, but got there in the end .Oh and ironically on the DF front the only 2 of the MTB were served by Alves who only served one prior to the MTB.
R1: MOORE, Tara (GBR) Q 405 (CH=145 2017} v PONCHET, Jessika (FRA) 8 197(CH=169 2019) They have met twice before with Jessika winning in 2018 and Tara in 2019

R1 rankings updated to 3/1/21
