Indeed. For those that haven't got the email

With British stars such as Kyle Edmund, Billy Harris and previous defending Champion Anton Matusevich in the men's draw and Eden Silva, Beth Grey, Freya Christie and Maia Lumsden in the women's draw it promises to be a superb climax to the season.

(Eliz v Beth yet to finish)

My calcukation is that Alice loss makes Eliz guaranteed to be top of the league table alongside Brandon for the men. Does that make any difference in the finals draw or to their prizeMoney or would it just be a little kudos and bragging rights ?!

Other sites reporting that Freya Christie is one of the wildcards for finals week

Which would make sense given it's at Nottingham, Freya's home town

Four non-GB women in the list (i.e. 50%) but the men's list is 100% GB

I wonder why there's such a difference ... or just one of life's little things....

I think in the mens side we had one or two non Brits in the field in week 5 or 6, cant recall which, but generally the fields themselves have been all British fields. Which I believe was the initial aim.

This season, in the womens, the names mentioned like Stresnakova (4 weeks), Lukosiute (4 weeks), Vasilescu (3 weeks), Malygina (2 weeks) have all played a number of weeks - looking down the tables though, it is mainly just these 4 and it looks like they have all shown that commitment and done well, thus they got into the top table.

Wonder whether all 9 in both lists will actually take up their places?
