UK Pro League 2022

On the daily recap of todays play, the website says

Matusevich is looking like a strong contender for back-to-back UK Pro League titles (a feat never achieved before in UK Pro League history).

Which cant be true as Brandon Murphy won weeks 2 and 3 earlier this season; and if they mean the overall finals , well , yeah, but this is year 3 so hardly likely it would have been achieved before!

There's also the fact that the other previous winners (Liam, Emma, Sonay) have quickly moved on to bigger things whereas Anton hasn't made as much progress on the main tour yet, hence he's still playing in the Pro League.

In the women's, wins for Arina, Alice, Eliz, and Danielle beat Beth in three,

If Eliz gets the title this week, indeed just the semis, she should
Take the top spot in the league ahead of the finals. Not sure if they get any sort
Of bonus for that or a better seeding in the finals, but worth noting. Looks Alice Gillan could do it also, but much less likely. Mens seems sewn up for Brandon.

Billy Harris - Alexis Canter had a tight old match! Billy won the first set 6-4 then Alexis won the 2nd on a breaker 13-11 before taking the match tie break 18-16!
Just the 56 points after the last service game!

Probably asked this before but does anyone understand the tiebreaker in the groups?
Billy, George & Alexis all finished on 3 points. A win and a losing bonus point. I assumed it might come down the games won George and Billy had 22 and Alexis 21 but cant be as Billy missed out to Alexis.

As they are level on points and sets it must be down to percentage of games won. Counting MTB's as 1 game I make it George 51.1%, Alexis 50% and Billy 48.9%

Billy might feel a tad unfortunate, especially after that 11-13 TB and 16-18 MTB!
