Billy plays the 17 year-old French kid in the final, Arthur Fils.

He was runner-up in Roland Garros juniors.

He's JWR 5 (ex 3)

Plays a very heavy game. A little unpredictable (as big-hitting youngsters often are). Has been playing some big tournaments (had a quali WC to Bercy, for instance).

I've seen him come completely undone a couple of times, so hopefully Billy's experience will help out. But he's not a standard ATP 680 player.

Delighted for Billy. That's three now in the last few weeks and the Top 500 is fully deserved. I wonder if there will be a change of strategy next year and he might start looking at 25ks and Challenger qualies for some events.

Wonder if hell go for the uk 25ks with the UK pro circuit in between to start the year. I thought he might have gone for the Antalya qualies the last few weeks however the 15ks started with stronger fields but then weakened as players got into the Challenger qualies so actually not a bad strategy.
