Week 47 - ITF M15 - Cairo, Egypt (clay)

Jonny Gray was playing the top seed today. He lost the first set 4-6.

But Duckhee had to retire at 1-0 in the second. Hope he's OK. Must have been something a bit dramatic, given he'd just won the first, you'd have thought.

But good news for Jonnie, of course, as his run continues....

Nice one, Felix - Perchicot is a decent enough 500 or so player. Nothing special (he must be about 30 now, he's about maxed out, I'd say), but solid. Good to win in two sets.

Yep, he's part of the cohort that's been identified in the top 500 thread.

Him and Arthur (the two 02-ers) are almost neck-to-neck, along with Jack PJ ('03). Arthur is studying too, whereas I don't think Felix is. Not that that will necessarily make much difference (either way). But they're definitely the 'youngster' threat to the top 500 as opposed to the post-college lads group (Ali, Henry, Charlie etc), or the 'general' group (Billy, Stuart etc)

Good week for Jonny - currently, he, Felix (on court in doubles currently) and Giles (yet to play today of course) are all still in singles and doubles, which is a good showing by all 3 of them so far
