Good. I don't know what her plans are (is she off at college in the US), but Dani has come on nicely, in my opinion, and could definitely get some wins on the itf circuit.

I believe Dani is 21, so not at college. She played 8 out of 9 weeks on the UKPro League this year (i.e right through the year from March to October, but didn't make the finals), as well as ITF's in Heraklion and Antalya. Hasn't made it out of qualifying in her last six events though.

Yes, I saw her in a couple of the UKPro league matches - it's there that I thought she'd come on quite a bit, and I remember her losing a couple of very tight matches (but it was only livestream, of course).

I know she's always been a bit in the shadows and I wouldn't say she was a little fave as such, but I like her gumption, and she certainly seems to be improving. So, allez Dani, now's the time for a few wins !

Nice article. I didn't realise that she'd had surgery and missed a year, which is one reason why she hasn't move on as quickly as we would expect.

Yes, it's a 48 draw, so one more round to go. Another young Chinese player (20 years old) playing the European ITF's
