Fantastic that she got another title (I didn't realise her fantastic record in ITF finals) and the 65 points, but one of the strangest, or certainly contrasting, W25 runs you'll see.
It's generally been another season of injuries and frustration, another year on and still ranked in the mid 200's, a fair way off her career high, but she does now have 2 ITF titles, qualified for a slam (which felt huge), and a couple of decent wins (McNally, Zarazua), plus this title may put her on the periphery of AO qualifying - can anyone confirm where she is in relation to that? I think I worked out she would be around 240 on OER with a net gain of 60, but it's hard to work out who has what ITF points coming off these days, but she should be close.
Seems like we say it every year, but next year really does feel like a big one in terms of what sort of career she'll end up having. Hopefully she can at least stay injury free to give herself the best possible chance - she's only played 39 matches (including Kanepi and Boulter) in over two years.
Yes Katie should indeed add a net 60 points to take her to 295 ranking points on 15/11, looking like around WR 240, maybe into the 230s. She has nothing further due off before the year end.
According to live Rankings Katie is only moving up 3 spots with this win . Maybe its not updated yet but I think it has . On the plus side . She is only defending 3 first round wins all year next year so she should find it easy too move up the rankings with any wins she gets .

Neither live.eu or OER have added those 60 points yet - both showing 235 points, with the 60 standing by. THe points don't go on for another week, as Indi says.

Agreed, and there's no valid reason why they can't be processed at once - except it's in the rulebook. ITF 100k, 80k and 60k events are processed immediately (provided they are finished by 11:59pm on the Sunday). 25k and 15k events are processed a minimum of one week following the completion of the tournament.
I think the original idea was that small tournaments don't have much manpower, there's no money, most are working for nothing, or bubkes, and sometimes matches get delayed, so they didn't want to put pressure on the tournament person to get it all signed off and submitted by Sunday evening.
Which I think was quite reasonable.
After all, one week doesn't make any difference.
However, it's true that now everything is far more automated, this is less of an argument.
