It looks as though Beth's opponent has retired so she qualifies.

Yes, 2-6 5-4 retired. Not the way Beth would have liked to make a new CH, but I'm sure she'll take it !

Yes indeed. She's battled really hard these last few week and I think she deserves it.

And a win will take out her career high ranking as well. Good luck

I've been refreshing the ITF webpage regularly since qualifying finished, waiting for the doubles draw. Still not showing the draws.

With representatives in five pairs this week it was inevitable that someone would meet in the first round. But otherwise none of them could meet until the semi-finals.
It does look as though the top two seeds are well above the rest though, but you can never tell.

Lissey and Liv in a real scrap against the top seeds. Several breaks each way, and they have just levelled the match. MTB coming up.

They led 8-3 in the MTB, and a couple of match points before they clinched it.

Great wins for the girls, can see a lot of doubles success this weak whether it be Sam again, Tara, Lissey and Liv or even Eden and Beth its nice to see them back playing together again!

And not forgettin Emily and Angelina, although they have a tough one against Tara and Emina. I'm hoping we do in fact get representaives in all four semi-final places.
