The week 2 event in Finland is a J4 (as opposed to last week's J5)

We've got the same group, plus more smile 

In the boys' main draw, we have: Oliver Hague; Hugo Coquelin; Viktor Frydrych (q); Freddy Blaydes; Samuel Reeve

In the girls' main draw, there's: Millie Skelton; Giulia Lesa; Issey Purser; Isabelle Lacey; Hannah Read; Ella MacDonald; Vlada Kozak

Mixed blessings for the girls.

Millie Skelton was always up against it, having drawn the top seed. And did indeed lose.

Hanna Read lost a heartbreaker of a 3rd set TB

Last week's winner, Isabelle Lacey, came through in three sets.

Ella won easily, as did Issey.

Giulia and Vlada play tomorrow

Finishing R1, Giulia won in three, but Vlada lost against the 2nd seed.

Brilliant day for the girls here.

Wins from all four (Giulia, Isabelle, Issey and Ella)

They're all in different QFs, so no GB-GB matches.

Not such a clean sweep for the boys, but 2 out of 4 ain't bad.

Into the QFs go Hugo and Freddy.

Viktor and Oliver lost.

Shout out to Freddy who beat the 3rd seed. And Oliver who only lost 4-6 in the third to the top seed - real close.


Doubles:

Boys semis has Viktor+ and Oliver+ (which is nice, given they're the ones who lost their singles)

Girls semis once again going all out - there's Isabelle & Giulia in the top half. And in the bottom half, Ella & Hannah play Issey+

We got 2 out of 4 in the girls today.

Ella McDonald takes pride of place, dumping out the second seed, 2 & 1

Isabelle Lacy also won.

The two will now play in the semis, giving us a guaranteed finalist.

In the other matches, Giulia lost against the top seed.

And Issey (seeded 4) lost 3 & 4 too.

And the boys have caught up with the girls now, with a real full house, as both Hugo C and Freddy Blaydes win and are into the semis (not against each other)

Freddy took out the 8th seed with ease. And will play an Irish lad in the SF.

The top seed got knocked out by a Swedish player who Hugo C will play in his SF.

And same in the doubles, as both Viktor+ and Oliver+ win their semis, beating the top two seeds, and will play their final tomorrow, so we have a guaranteed title winner.

In the girls dubs, Ella & Hannah beat Issey+ are into the final. However, Isabelle and Giulia lost their semi, 9-11 in the MTB.

Oliver Hague is our first this weekend.

Dubs Boys FINAL: Oliver+ defeated Viktor+

Congrats to him


In the all-GB girls' semi, Isabelle beat Ella, 3 & 1

However, in the first boys' semi, Freddy lost to the Irish player

Isabelle Lacy comfortably beats Ella McDonald to reach her third final in a row.

If she wins it would be her third title in a row. Although if the first seed, Yesypchuk, gets through it would be a tough test on paper as she's 199 in the world and a year older.

The girls' dubs goes one step better than the boys - TWO winners

Hannah Read and Ella McDonald win the girls dubs title, 6-2 6-3

Also, Hugo Coquelin won his semi so is into the singles finals tomorrow (as well as Isabelle)

No luck in the singles though.

Hugo C put up a great effort - lost 6-3 4-6 4-6 to the Irish boy, Arthur O'Sullivan.

Isabelle lost in two to the top seed.
